Relatively Successful Experiment…

Here’s a couple bowls that show my attempts at something a bit different. They looked alright after the bisque but I wasn’t sure how they would be after the firing. They are similar in color but they are actually two different glazes, one a little greener (or one a little bluer). Tonight is the first meeting of Club 52. I have 3 friends and with me it makes 4 of us who all went to Murray State University together, majoring in art, from 1977 to 1982 (roughly). We are all the same age and we meet to have beer on each others’ birthdays 4 times a year. As of yesterday we were all 51 and my buddy Al’s birthday is today and he’s 52 so Club 51 becomes Club 52… how quaint.
