Show’s Up And Online…

Well, the show at Terra Incognito has been up in the physical gallery since April 3rd but the pieces weren’t listed on the gallery’s website til yesterday. So anyway, I can point to the pieces that I didn’t have time to photograph before they left home…

So if you have a hankerin’ you can check out my pots here and Jeff Campana’s pots here. And while I’m on the subject, I added this year’s AKAR yunomis to the “Cups” page in the right column…

Actually there are still 3 unsold yunomis at AKAR right now here and there are a few more on my artist page on the AKAR site here. Finally got some pictures taken and the studio cleaned up a bit. The clay is calling me and I won’t be able to get at it for another week probably. It’s Dad and Sofia day today and tomorrow and another one of my sisters is arriving on Tuesday. The photo session did allow me to get some picture processing done and I uploaded this bowl to my Etsy store yesterday afternoon…

Lovely line-up of art! I especially like the bottom image with (it appears) a touch of blue in the background -it really sets off that chamois color glaze -beautiful! Dad needs to be on the mountain today so it’s a Gus & mom day today too -he wants to get his new bike out and dirty 🙂

Gorgeous. The glaze colors in close-ups are so rich. Who wouldn’t want a few.

I went there, Jim, that is a superb exhibition selection, your work and Jeffs, whilst very different in approach and execution, sit together well, complementing each other.

What I’m trying to say, clumsily, here, is that I’m overawed by these pieces.
The gallery’s pics are very good, I could imagine them in new homes, in fancy penthouse apartments, posed upon a plain white plinth, or in a mansion, as centrepiece upon an antique oak table.
In short, they’re superb, and deserve to be bought by discerning collectors.

The work looks amazing on the website, the layout etc. Jeff work compliments yours well. Makes for an exciting physical and virtual exhibition – trust you will have a sellout. You deserve it. Superbly crafted forms and surfaces, integrating well into an extremely beautiful collection. Useful usable and desirable.
